The hypodermis (HA6 ts = tela subcutanea) is the CT layer under the dermis. This is a good example of white adipose connective tissue. Note that the lipids have been washed out of the large adipocyte vacuoles during processing. The cytoplasm forms a very thin rim around the vacuole and the flattened nucleus is often not in the plane of section.
