HA14: Human ovary, 3 months of pregnancy Groat’s stain

The interstitial glands (HA14) are prominent in the ovary during pregnancy. Note the radiating rows of cells that are characteristic of these glands, and the thickened gray/green-staining “glassy” membrane that is derived from the basement membrane of the membrana granulosa (arrows).
