The epithelium of the epididymis (HA6) is pseudostratified columnar with stereocilia. These long, branched microvilli are critical for resorption of defective sperm, excess fluid and residual bodies (arrows). You may also wish to review the features of this epithelium in HA10 in the Epithelium lab.
