HA14 provides another example of the continuity between the acinus, intercalated duct, and striated duct. Myoepithelial cells (arrowheads) are present in the acini and striated ducts. Note that a capillary is found at the base of each striated duct (HA13&14). Why? Plasma cells are indicated by arrows.
