HA7 illustrates the respiratory epithelium that lines most of the larynx. There are numerous serous/mucous glands in the lamina propria (HA7 G), particularly in the upper region of the laryngeal cavity. In this image, the layer of mucus sitting on top of the respiratory epithelium has been preserved.
