The adenomeres of the sweat glands deep in the dermis show myoepithelial cells (HA12). They are the dark blue cells at the periphery of the secretory unit. In one of the central adenomeres, the myoepithelial cells (arrows) can be seen stretching across the base of the gland due to the plane of section.
