HA10 is a lowmagnification view of a monkey finger. The epidermis of the finger is a very thick, keratinized, stratified, squamous epithelium (Epithelium HA15). The dermis and hypodermis of the distal phalanx are both quite thick. Close to the center of the finger is mature bone. Hair follicles are present on the dorsal surface of the finger.
