HA24 is an EM of an eosinophil (HA18), an immune system cell, at low magnification. There are mitochondria (m) and a prominent bilobed nucleus (N). The double layer of membrane surrounding the nucleus is the nuclear envelope (NE). This image and the next few micrographs show the appearance of numerous lysosomes in the cytoplasm.
