HA12

Bone12o
The marrow has many blood-forming cells, including prominent, mononucleated megakaryocytes (HA12, arrow), the source of blood platelets. What is unique about these cells is the size of the single nucleus. These cells are usually some distance from the endosteum, in contrast to the multinucleated osteoclasts. You can see osteocytes embedded in the bone matrix.
