HA29 is one lymph nodule from a Peyer’s Patch in the ileum. At the right are villi that reach into the lumen of small intestine. HEVs are located at the base of the nodule. These are the sites where naïve lymphocytes and memory cells from other locations gain entry into the Peyer’s patch nodule.
