The major structure in this section of an ovary (HA12) at the left is the corpus luteum of pregnancy (cl), at low magnification. At the top of the section is a large atretic follicle (af). In the center at the right, a large corpus albicans (ca) can be seen. Sections of three interstitial glands (ig) are present below the corpus luteum.
