The very light staining punctate material (NS) is "neurosecretory substance" traveling down the unmyelinated axons on its way to storage in the axons' nerve terminals, located in the pars nervosa. The oval, orange nuclei of pituicytes, (HA2) the glial cells that are similar to astrocytes in the infundibulum are just visible.
