Endothelial cells (E) are visible in HA17, but the space of Disse is indistinct. The main virtue of this image is the presence of very conspicuous bile canaliculi (purple channels). Most are cut in longitudinal section and can be seen outlining a few polygonal hepatocytes (arrows HA17).
